How To Make Kettle Corn & Recipe
Just sit back and watch the flash slide show. (As you are probably doing do now. So stop reading this.)
For you people who don't have the flash player installed, our kettle corn recipe is this:
- Popcorn
- Sugar
- Corn Oil
- Salt
You'll be mixing the popcorn and sugar to a 2:1 ratio. The important thing is to HEAT the mixer to a hot enough temperature so you BROWN the sugar BEFORE the whole mess pops. Doing it in a microwave just melts the sugar, that's why the microwave stuff just doesn't cut it. Shaking a pan over a stove won't mix the ingredients enough while it's popping, you'll still end up with 'melty sugared popcorn'. (Note: we've tried all this ourselves, that why we went out and BOUGHT a darn kettle!) So that's our kettle corn recipe.
