Another year starts up…
Tuesday, May 1st, 2007..at the Springfield farmers market. We had a bunch of sad-looking faces last year when we finished up at the end of October. “Where are we gonna get kettle corn during the winter?” Steve had tried to start up some stores in Springfield, but that never got off the ground. (We did continue selling with Bolton Orchards and Colella’s Market in Hopinkton, MA. We did about a case a week, somebody had to continue their kettle corn fix during winter.)
Total bags the first day back: 112! It was almost like we never left. If you compare that to our first week a year ago, it was only a lousy 40-50 bags. We got the usual “OOOH! You guys are here! I’m coming back every day!” Since this seems to be working out…let’s see if we can find some other farmers markets and recreat
